Requirements:
- Min. 2 years' experience as Front Office Manager in 4* or 5* operations (hotel and/or cruise ships)
 - Highly proficient in spoken and written English, French can be an advantage
 - Strong computer skills (MS Office)
 - Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, ordering, and inventory controlling
 - Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable
 - Good problem-solving skills
 - Complaint management skills
 - Stress tolerant
 
Role and Responsibilities:
- Actively manage the daily operation of the front office
 - Conduct trainings, coordinate, and supervise the front desk staff
 - Assist and replace the hotel manager if required
 - Prepare and send the port reports for arrival and departure
 - Supervise the onboard boutique
 - Monitor and control daily account closings performed by the night auditor
 - Cruise preparations
 - Administer cruise closings, including invoice controls, credit card settlements, and record onboard revenues
 - Prepare on-duty schedules in accordance with legal requirements
 - Be familiar with all docking locations and shore excursions
 - In charge of monthly inventories
 - Handle guest complaints
 - Distribute information within the team as well as to other departments
 - Ensure shore-side IT support if required
 - Arrange external laundry suppliers
 - Introduction and documentation of joining crew members
 - Conduct evaluations of the front desk team with the assistance of the hotel manager
 - Monitor and ensure necessary on-board discipline
 - Ensure no unauthorized persons are entering the vessel
 - Participate in all safety drills
 - Report any potential safety hazards
 - Responsible for AGE control panel and codes
 - Maintain and update safety book
 - Update safety role and in-port-manning lists
 - Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings
 
Side Tasks:
- Perform any other duties as instructed by the supervisor, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
 - Assist other departments as per supervisor's instruction
