THE OPPORTUNITY

Join Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises as a Sales Coordinator, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Trade Sales team and helping bring exceptional travel experiences to life.

This role is perfect for a highly organized and proactive individual who enjoys working collaboratively across teams while providing administrative, operational, and partner support to help drive growth and efficiency across the trade business. This role works closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs), Trade Sales Operations Manager, Marketing, Reservations, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of trade initiatives and exceptional support for agency partners. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sales operations, partner engagement, and strategic initiatives within the luxury travel industry.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service while contributing to overall business growth.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Trade Partner Support: Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to trade partners and Business Development Managers (BDMs), ensuring timely and professional responses to inquiries.
  • Sales Operations: Work closely with the Trade Sales Operations Manager to support the execution of sales initiatives and improve internal processes to drive efficiency.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners to foster long-term business growth and engagement.
  • Strategic Projects: Support and maintain key initiatives such as agent reward programs and enhancements to account management systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Finance, Reservations, and other teams to ensure seamless handling of partner requests and initiatives.
  • Reporting & Insights: Track and report on key metrics, including bookings, revenue, conversion rates, and partner feedback. Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
  • Conversion Optimization: Collaborate with the sales team to improve conversion from enquiry to booking, offering insights to strengthen sales strategies.
  • Travel: Participate in events and initiatives, with occasional domestic and international travel required (up to 20%).

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales or hospitality, ideally within the luxury travel or cruise industry
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a customer-focused approach
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and project management tools is an asset
  • Able to work occasional extended hours and/or weekends
  • A valid Canadian driver's license is required
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
