The Role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Spa Manager/Hairdresser to join our onboard team. 

Description Brief: As Spa Manager/Hairdresser, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the spa, salon, and fitness operation, delivering an exceptional wellness experience for our guests. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the spa and salon facilities, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.

This unique dual-role position combines operational leadership with hands-on hairdressing services. As Spa Manager, you will manage appointments, team schedules, training, inventory, performance, and revenue generation, while continuously driving excellence across all wellness services. As a qualified Hairdresser, you will provide professional consultations, cutting, styling, colouring, and hair treatments, ensuring every guest receives a first-class experience.

A strong leader and motivator, you will coach and develop your team, promote spa and retail services, and ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and maritime regulations. You will work closely with shipboard management to create a welcoming environment that enhances the overall guest journey and supports the success of the onboard wellness operation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Recognised Hairdressing qualification with relevant professional certification.
  • Minimum three years' hairdressing training/apprenticeship and professional salon experience.
  • Previous experience in a Spa Manager, Salon Manager, or similar supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Previous experience within luxury hospitality or onboard cruise operations is preferred but not essential.
