The Role:  We seek a talented and experienced '2nd Engineer'.

Description Brief: 
As a 3rd Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the 1st Engineer with the repair and maintenance of various systems, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the vessel. Your responsibilities will include standing watch in the Engine Control Room, monitoring and managing the performance of all machinery and equipment. You will actively participate in meetings, training sessions, and other work-related activities to stay updated on the latest procedures and best practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Additionally, you will be vigilant in identifying and rectifying any unsafe practices or near accidents, maintaining a safe working environment. Your role will also involve performing regular maintenance tasks, assisting in inventory management, and keeping detailed records of all maintenance and testing activities. Furthermore, you will be an integral part of the team during emergency procedures and drills, contributing to the preparedness and safety of the crew and passengers. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining the high standards of operation and safety that Scenic Cruises is known for.

Minimum Requirements:
- To apply for this role, you must hold an Engineering Officer of the Watch (III/1) License.
- At least 2 contracts' experience onboard cruise ships as a 3rd Engineer.
- Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position.
- An amazing team player with a positive attitude to ‘get the job done’.
