Technical Superintendent
Requirements
• Relevant marine engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualification/experience.
• Previous experience in marine engineering, vessel technical management or a Technical Superintendent role.
• Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance and engineering systems.
• Passenger vessel or river cruise experience is highly desirable.
• Strong technical problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to travel to vessels and operational locations as required.
• Portuguese and English language skills mandatory.

Role and Responsibilities
• Represent the company values and visions
• Ensure a professional and courteous service while managing the daily operations
• Implement and maintain company standards and operating procedures
• Oversee the technical condition and performance of assigned vessels.
• Coordinate planned, preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor technical defects and ensure timely resolution.
• Support vessel inspections, certification and technical compliance.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and specialist service providers.
• Support dry-dock, repair and maintenance projects.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation and records.
• Support technical budgeting and cost control.
• Provide technical support to Captains and onboard teams.
• Work closely with Nautical and Operations teams to minimise operational disruption
