Corporate Operations Manager – River Operations Europe

About the Role

Scenic Group is seeking an experienced Corporate Operations Manager to support the operational performance of our luxury river cruise fleet across Europe.

This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of company standards, exceptional guest experiences, and operational excellence across multiple vessels. The successful candidate will work closely with onboard management teams, conduct ship visits, provide coaching and support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and monitor the operational performance of assigned vessels.
• Ensure compliance with Scenic Group standards, procedures, and service expectations.
• Conduct regular ship visits, audits, and operational reviews.
• Coach and develop onboard management teams.
• Analyze guest feedback and operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Collaborate with corporate departments to implement fleet-wide operational projects and improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience within the cruise, river cruise, hospitality, or luxury hotel industry.
• Previous experience as Hotel Director, Corporate Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager, or a similar senior operational role.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, food & beverage, housekeeping, and guest services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluent English required.
• Willingness to travel extensively and spend time onboard vessels across Europe.
