Night Auditor

Requirements:
  • Min. 1 year experience at a Front Desk in 4* or 5* operations (hotel and/or cruise ships)
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, French knowledge an advantage
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Familiar with safety and security
  • Stress tolerant
  • Familiar with a multicultural working environment
  • Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable
  • Good problem-solving skills

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Handle guest complaints, special requests and inform supervisor accordingly
  • Hourly safety rounds between 10.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m.
  • Operate activated alarm system
  • Verify all people (guests and crew) night departures
  • Ensure unauthorized persons are not entering the vessel
  • Book guest checks, check, print accounts, and carry out daily audits
  • Count cash at every shift change
  • Upload guest slide show on to ITV
  • Collect breakfast cards from guest rooms and deliver to galley and butlers
  • Ensure proper maintenance of printers and copy machine
  • Provide wake-up service to guests
  • Print and place newspapers, sudokus, and crosswords in designated places
  • Refill the boutique display if needed
  • Clean and sanitize key cards and prepare stateroom key cards for the upcoming cruise
  • Prepare and set up early bird breakfast on embarkation days
  • Arrange signed system-accounts bills by date
  • Maintain cleanliness of front and back of the office
  • Participate in all safety drills
  • Report any potential safety hazards
  • Place updated safety role and in-port-manning lists in designated areas
  • Turn on coffee machine and set up buffet as per instructions
  • Update e-log registry if required
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of the AGE control panel and codes

Side Tasks:
  • Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
  • Assist with monthly inventories as per supervisor's instructions
  • Assist other departments as per supervisor's instructions
