We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented
Product Contractor – European River Cruising
to join our Product Contracting team in Zug. As part of a collaborative team, you will source, contract and manage a portfolio of shore-based suppliers across selected European river cruise destinations. Your portfolio may include hotels, shore excursion operators, transportation providers, guides and destination-management companies. Working closely with Product, Operations and Contracting colleagues, you will secure competitive commercial terms while ensuring contracted services meet Scenic Group’s standards for quality, reliability and guest experience.

Your portfolio may include hotels, shore excursion operators, transportation providers, guides and destination-management companies. Working closely with Product, Operations and Contracting colleagues, you will secure competitive commercial terms while ensuring contracted services meet Scenic Group’s standards for quality, reliability and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, contract and manage suppliers across allocated European river cruise destinations.
- Support the annual re-contracting and purchasing cycle, ensuring continuity of supply, competitive rates and accurate documentation.
- Negotiate rates, commercial terms, contracts and service-level agreements with hotels, excursion operators, transport providers, guides and destination-management companies.
- Build and maintain productive, long-term relationships with supplier partners.
Partner with Product and Operations teams to ensure supplier arrangements support itinerary design, operational requirements and guest-experience standards. - Prepare, maintain and validate costing files, rate agreements, supplier records and contract documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and service delivery, resolving issues or escalating them where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial value, product quality and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about market conditions, supplier developments, capacity constraints and destination opportunities across your portfolio.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of contracting processes, systems and supplier-evaluation practices.
- Travel regularly within Europe to meet suppliers, visit destinations and support product development.

Requirements
- Three to five years’ experience in contracting, procurement, product buying, sourcing or a commercial role within tourism, hospitality, river cruising, tour operations or a related travel sector.
- Experience working with hotels, excursion providers, transport suppliers, guides, destination-management companies or other ground-service partners.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience in rate negotiation, costing, contracting and supplier management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and supplier relationships across different countries and time zones.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative working style and the ability to work effectively within a small, international team.
- Fluency in English; additional European language skills are highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
- A genuine commitment to quality, service excellence and memorable guest experiences.
